Back from London

I’m back from London and I had a great time! This was the first time I’d been there in about two years so I really enjoyed it. I spent all of Saturday in the Natural History Museum and the V&A, then ventured into Harrods and down to Covent Garden and China Town only to accidentally end up in the remainder of the Gay Pride Parade! So many people blowing whistles, which wasn’t the best when they were standing right next to me!
On Sunday, I did quite a bit of shopping down Oxford Street and also took a visit to Carnaby Street, although by the time I ended up there, everything was closing. I spent quite a bit actually, but it was totally worth it! In fact, one of my favourite purchases was actually a floaty blouse from Primark, which is surprising because they haven’t really brought anything out lately that I liked that much.
Then Monday came and I took a visit down to Portobello Road, but the street market wasn’t on so I just had a wander around the antique stores. I also went into the Yumi store and it is absolutely lovely inside! It’s so quaint with pretty decor like those distressed floral photo frames and antique birdcages. There was also a sale on, so I picked up this pretty top which is another one of my favourites.
Overall, I had a fantastic time. It was nice to just to get away from ordinary life for a few days. Can’t wait to go down again!
